WIRE TERMINAL APPLICATOR FITS AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL PRESSES

-- April 5, 2001 -- A newly redesigned wire applicator that fits a wide variety of automatic equipment and stand-alone bench presses and allows tooling changes in the press is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.
The ETCO Mini-Applicator accepts terminals from virtually all manufacturers and can be used with automatic equipment and stand-alone bench presses such as Amp, Artos, and Komax. Featuring an open architecture that permits easy adjustments and tooling changes, it incorporates a rack and pinion design to reduce wear and has a simple thumbscrew feed stroke adjustment with built-in tooling guides to assure proper alignment.
Capable of 5,000 terminations per hour, depending upon the terminal and wire combination, the ETCO Mini-Applicator can open barrel "F" crimp both the wire and insulation ear sections in one stroke and eliminate lost or bent back wire strands. This versatile applicator can handle terminals from .006" through .036" thick and tooling is available for females, males, right angle flags, and insulated rings and hooks.
