"F" CRIMP FLAG DISCONNECTS PERMIT FASTER AUTOMATED WIRE PROCESSING

          -- July 23, 2001 -- A new line of right angle flag disconnects that feature an "F" Crimp rather than a rollover, for a better connection and faster automated wire process- ing, is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

          ETCO F-Crimp Flag Disconnects provide a more secure connection than conven-tional rollover style flag ears and permit faster automated wire processing speeds with less fracturing, better wire deformation, and a more distinct bellmouth. Featuring the proven reliability of an "F" crimp, these flag disconnects solve the wire processing misalignment problems typical of conventional right angle rollover- and tab lock style disconnects.

          Developed for high volume, high speed applications, ETCO F-Crimp Flag Disconnects run in all automated wire equipment and help minimize tool wear because of precise wire placement. They meet UL310 and NEMA specifications and are available for wire sizes 14GA to 22GA in .250" and .187" sizes; either tinned and plain brass.
