PADDED RANGE BLADES APPROVED FOR 50 AMP POWER CORDS

March 2003 - A new series of range and dryer blades for pre-molding plastic power cords that are UL approved for use with both 30- and 50 Amp 220 V applications is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

ETCO Padded Range Blades meet UL 817 requirements for a variety of NEMA configurations including 10-30, 10-50, 14-30, and 14-50 and are approved for both 30- and 50 Amp plugs. Featuring a padded (formed) blade rather than a conventional design, these lightweight 220 V range and dryer blades reduce material costs and are easier to handle.

Providing crimp ears to accept wire sizes from 6- through 10 AWG, ETCO Padded Range Blades are available loose and in reel feed strip form for automated wire attachment.
