A compact, bench-top crimping press for attaching continuous strip or loose piece terminals and blades in work cells or independent workstations is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

The ETCO Bench-top Crimping Press is a 2.5 Ton electric unit that accepts all varieties of left or right feed applicators including mini dies (with adaptor plate) for attaching continuous strip or loose piece terminals and blades. Featuring a direct-drive design and a gear motor that eliminates mechanical clutches which can wear and cause failures, this press provides forward jog capability, an electric stroke counter, and emergency shut-off.

Foot-operated and easily converted into automated operations, the ETCO Bench-top Crimping Press has a sturdy steel frame to minimize press deflection for reliable and consistent crimps. Standard features include an open architecture for easy access to the applicators, quiet operation, safety guards, and 110/220V models are available.
