AUTOMOTIVE BOOTERS APPLY INSULATORS ONTO IGNITION WIRES

A line of air-operated, bench-top booters for applying straight and angled rubber insulator boots onto terminated spark plug and distributor wiring is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

ETCO Booters are air-operated, table-mounted units that let users apply rubber insulators onto spark plug and distributor wire terminals at their own facility. Featuring foot pedal actuation, these semi-automatic booters spread the boot over the terminals without damaging the wire seal area and come in three models for straight-, right- and variable angled boots.

Fully adjustable for length of wire and the seal end, ETCO Straight Booters handle a variety of lengths and styles of boots and the angled booter accepts ETCO 90 degree boots. The Bender/booter will bend and boot ETCO CB2, CB3, AB16, CB8, AB15, and AB20 boots, along with DT2000LB, DT207LB, DT200B, DT250B, DT257B, SP19, and DT7B ignition terminals.
