Custom Electrical Terminals Feature Inlaid Brazing Compounds

Custom manufactured terminals that can incorporate inlaid brazing compounds to facilitate wire attachment in automated processes and reduce labor costs are being introduced by ETCO Incorporated  of Warwick, Rhode Island.

Inlaid custom wire terminalsETCO Custom Electrical Terminals can be manufactured from virtually all alloys including medical grade alloys, titanium, platinum, stainless, and copper alloys in a wide range of configurations. Featuring inlaid brazing compounds to facilitate wire attachment in automated processes, they elim-inate the labor costs associated with pre- and post specialized plating. Supplied loose piece or reel-to-reel, ETCO Custom Electrical Terminals can be produced in sizes from 0.008″ to 0.900″ thick with ±0.002″ tolerances, depending upon materials and design requirements. Developed using rapid proto-typing with 3-D solid modeling analysis, these terminals can also be inlaid or edgelaid with precious metals for increased wear properties.

ETCO Custom Electrical Terminals are priced according to design, materials, and quantity; minimum production is typically 500,000 parts/yr.
