ETCO Incorporated Launches 5-5-5 Program for Cost Conscious Manufacturers
American manufacturing company ETCO Incorporated announces the launch of the 5-5-5 program for manufacturers in multiple industries. The program is part of ETCO’s stated ongoing commitment to manufacture American products at prices comparable to parts made in other regions of the world. With over 300 standard parts in ETCO’s product catalog, the program is one of the most extensive manufacturing promotions created.
The 5-5-5 program gives manufacturers savings of $500 off an entire order of applicator machinery. Applicator machinery is used to crimp terminals onto wire. It can also be used for mass production of crimp terminals onto wires when used with automatic wire processing machines. The program also allows eligible manufacturers to choose up to five in stock ETCO standard products in quantities of 50,000 or more. Finally, the company promises delivery on in-stock products and applicator machinery in five weeks or less.
Started as an idea to address the needs of aftermarket automotive manufacturers, the 5-5-5 program is now being expanded to a variety of different manufacturing industries and companies. Some of the industries include medical devices, appliance, the aforementioned aftermarket automotive market and motion control among others. The 5-5-5 program is set to deliver savings on all types of products made in America and other manufacturing regions including Mexico and China.
According to executives at the company, the program was able to be carried out through manufacturing efficiencies and demand for newer products including the insulated closed back connector. Executive Vice President Sean Dunn states, “We’re happy to offer this plan to all manufacturers because it passes savings and better lead times on to them.†He adds, “We’re running this program for eligible manufacturers until July 4, 2012 so they can experience the process of working with an innovative American manufacturer like ETCO.â€
