ETCO Launched Manufacturing Product Filter Engine on New Website

ETCO Terminals and Connectors Website Filter Engine

Product filter engine developed for engineers and purchasing personnel to create and search for products based on over 100 different attributes for wire termination

ETCO Incorporated today launched a product filtering engine that allows visitors to select from over 100 different attributes on its new website. As part of a revamped engineering and manufacturing website, the ETCO product filtering engine facilitates efficient searches for currently available products. The engine gives users the ability to view over 1800 wire termination products including disconnects, insulated connectors, rubber and plastic connectors and multiple other items.

In development for over a year, the product filtering engine is built primarily with engineers in mind. Engineers can create or search for a product based on attributes including metal, wire range, stud hole, insulation range, stock thickness, color materials and product groups. These choices provide for a nearly limitless amount of possibilities when it comes to wire termination product engineering and development. In addition, if users cannot find a wire termination or custom precision stamped product after using the search filters, the user is presented with the ability to submit a request to ETCO for a custom part based on the search attributes entered.

If a product is found from the search attributes selected, the visitor is taken to a page containing search results that can provide product datasheets, product drawings (including 3-d files) and additional product compatibility information. ETCO Executive Vice President, Sean Dunn states, “This functionality provides extensive flexibility for engineering and purchasing personnel and eliminates guesswork when sourcing the best product for their projects.”

The search also comes as part of a completely revamped product website that includes updated drawings, UL, RoHS, and more in terms of product information. Available for use now, the ETCO product filtering engine is part of ETCO’s continuous improvement process.
