Wire Terminal Applicator Works with Automatic and Manual Presses
A new low-cost mini-applicator that accepts terminals from virtually all manufacturers and can be used with automatic equipment and manual presses is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.
The ETCO Mighty-Mini Wire Terminal Applicator features a one-piece cast body and an extra thick base plate for increased rigidity and consistent crimping. Designed for use with automatic equipment and stand-alone manual bench presses such as Tyco/AMP, Artos, and Komax, this rugged applicator has a two-piece anvil to crimp wire and insulation ear sections in one stroke and an open architecture to permit easy feed adjustment and tooling changes. Capable of 5,000 terminations per hour, depending upon the terminal and wire combination, the ETCO Mighty-Mini Wire Terminal Applicator can handle wire up to 9 AWG, terminals from 0.006†through 0.32†thick, and tooling is available for females, males, right angle flags, and rings, spades and hooks. A continuous regulating head allows fine-tuning of the crimp height with 0.001 resolution within a 0.106†range, and fully repeatable settings.
The ETCO Mighty-Mini Wire Terminal Applicator is priced from $1,795.00 plus the cost of tooling. Delivery is 4 to 6 weeks.
